Lisa Gilkes is a highly experienced Physiotherapist and Feldenkrais Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in hydrotherapy and many more as a physiotherapist. Aqua-Moves is a dedicated hydrotherapy service that was established on the Gold Coast in 2001. She offers individual sessions in hydrotherapy pools in Pimpama, Murwillumbah, home pools and at Palm Beach when this facility re-opens in June 2024. For individual land-based sessions, she has a home clinic.
Toni Fuller and Lisa have developed a very distinctive approach to working in water, that is very much influenced by Feldenkrais. They also provide training for other therapists in "Neuroaquatics" - the approach they have developed over many years that is based on Feldenkrais principles and the most recent research on motor learning and pain management.
Lisa also works as a Feldenkrais Practitioner within the Pain Program at Spendelove Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
