About the event

The body is a vehicle that takes us through life. It is a Time Machine. It begins at one end of a timeline and ends when we end. This trajectory is a story. A life story. There are many stories held and carried by the body. Story Arc is a brief moment where we get to tune in and expand, unpack, unravel, and re-write the narrative.

Story Arc - The Narrative of the Body is a 90 minute combination of creative reflection, interaction with pens and paper, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement and sound journeying.

Story Arc outlines four intertwined dimensions—the kinaesthetic story of how force flows and blocks within habitual patterns, the somatic story of slowed internal inquiry, the external story of expressing these arcs through movement and space, and the conjunction where inner exploration, external expression, and somatic awareness converge to re-write the personal story.
