AFG WA presents: Pain In the Foreground and Background

Pain is a major motivator for people seeking to engage with the Feldenkrais Method. However, the Method is not about curing or fixing things like pain. How do we reconcile this contradiction and gain confidence in working with people in pain? One way is to increase our understanding of current pain science, and we may just find that the Feldenkrais Method has something rather unique to offer - to move people with pain into function. In this workshop we will explore these ideas theoretically and practically so that effective function comes to the foreground and pain moves to the background for us and for our clients.
