About Andrea

Andrea Schadeberg is a highly experienced practitioner in the fields of massage therapy and the Feldenkrais Method. She began her career in 1995 as a massage therapist, holding diplomas in remedial massage, sports injury therapies, lymphatic drainage, and certification in oncology massage. Her early training provided her with a strong foundation in understanding the human body and addressing various physical ailments.

In 2000, Andrea embarked on a journey to deepen her knowledge and skills by pursuing certification as a Feldenkrais Practitioner. She completed her training in Sydney from 2000 to 2003, immersing herself in the principles and techniques of the Feldenkrais Method.

Throughout her career, Andrea has been passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with others. She has conducted workshops and presentations for a diverse range of audiences, including dance students, dentists, and the general public

One of Andrea's key areas of focus has been working with clients who have chronic complaints, such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Inspired by her work with these clients, she embarked on a journey to find innovative ways to improve their level of functioning and empower them to take charge of their well-being. Collaborating with one of her clients suffering from CRPS, Andrea designed a unique blanket that proved to be a valuable tool in creating movement experiences for individuals experiencing hypersensitivity and touch aversion. This innovative approach highlights Andrea's creativity, adaptability, and commitment to finding solutions tailored to the unique needs of her clients.
