About
Kim attended the Perth 1 Feldenkrais training, graduating in 1999. She also completed the first Bones for Life training and is a Sounder Sleep System Teacher. Kim has been teaching Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes on a regular basis since 1996 and has run workshops on a variety of themes. She also offers Functional Integration (FI) sessions from her home practice in Kardinya.
Kim qualified as a Primary School teacher in 1978 after completing a degree at Murdoch University and continues to work part time at a local Primary School. She believes the principles of the Feldenkrais Method have strongly influenced the way she interacts with and teaches her students.
Kim first became aware of the Feldenkrais Method while studying Music Theatre at WAAPA in the late 1980s. Over the past thirty-five years she has performed with a variety of Theatre, Music Theatre and Vocal groups around Perth and has a strong interest in how Feldenkrais can be applied to improve self-use in ‘The Arts’.
