Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons explore how we can learn to move with greater ease, fluidity and functionality, and help us to feel more comfortable and confident in the use of ourselves. Lessons commonly evoke a sense of release and relaxation, and improve our self-awareness.
- Awareness Through Movement
Raymond (Ray) spent the first 20 years of his career in financial management and IT systems in the UK and Australia, with a ‘detour’ to teach English in Japan. More recently, since 2000, he has trained and worked in health management and education, as an audiologist, Alexander Technique teacher and a Feldenkrais Method® Practitioner.
Ray enjoys helping people of any age find easier and lighter ways of being and functioning, whether to help with work, hobbies and interests, rehabilitation from illness or injury, or simply with the general stresses of life. He has personal experience of living with spinal cord injury, and the great benefits in learning pain-free ways of moving and being. His main hobby is music, learning to play the saxophone.
