Skills

Leonie has extensive interest and experience in pelvic stability, function and the development of a core cylinder. Leonie also has post graduate qualifications in dry needling. Her interest includes assisting individuals to move with more ease and be able to access movement and stability that they were previoussly unaware of how to access. Leonie runs workshops in "Introduction to there Female Pelvic Floor" in conjunction with a Yoga teacher and will release 2018 dates shortly. Client issues that Leonie sees at her practice include: dysfunction related to over use of IT, difficulty with prolonged sitting and persistent pain. It is common for people to be confused about how to organise their skeleton or in their words "posture". Individuals often have persistent dysfunction, stiffness or pain that is compensation or secondary to an injury or acute pain episode. The Feldenkrais Method is useful in finding a way through complex issues to develop efficient moment with stability.
