Ralph has over 40 years’ experience in movement and body therapies- as a practitioner, teacher and trainer of teachers. He was among the first to undergo Feldenkrais training in Australia and has been teaching the method since 1988. He is a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and has been accredited as an Assistant Trainer (authorised to teach in practitioner training programs).
Ralph has taught and presented workshops for many organisations, businesses and sporting clubs including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Gawler Foundation, the Arthritis Foundation, CAE, Laneway Learning, RMIT, Breacan, radio 3AK, the Boite Singers Festival, AFG, Feldenkrais Interest Group (FIG) and Hepburn Spa. He writes for journals such as Wellbeing and the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and was editor of "Feldenkrais Australia", the national newsletter of the AFG from 2012-2018.
He was for 20 years the founder and director of the Melbourne School of Tactile Therapies, an institution which pioneered massage therapist training in Australia.
Ralph offers ongoing weekly classes (Tuesdays 7:30-8:25am, CAE building, Melbourne CBD), individual consultations (FI) and workshops in Melbourne, interstate and internationally. In-house and corporate presentations available by arrangement. Ralph teaches with clarity, respect and good humour. His sessions combine fun with serious learning, helping his clients to achieve optimal health and performance at work and play.
