A sensible gardener takes care of his tools,
A wise gardener takes care of his body as well.

This workshop introduces you to some simple ways of reminding your body to move easily and safely.

As a young child you probably had a great deal of flexibility and freedom in your movement. The activities in this workshop will help your body to remember how to move in those easy fluid ways.

Explore the movements involved in gardening tasks like; weeding, shoveling, pruning, lifting, digging, pushing a wheelbarrow or mower and relieving residual stress. Discover the ‘less pain, more gain’ approach.

Over 4 Thursday evenings (7.30 – 9 pm Eastern time), explore how you move, how else you could move, then apply your learning to practical garden and household activities. Each week you will receive notes on the movement lesson and handy tips to sustain your gardening pleasure

Jenni Evans is an experienced Feldenkrais Assistant Trainer with a down to earth practical approach. She has been a passionate gardener for more than 65 years and still maintains a productive 2 acre garden.

Loose the droop
Regain a lightness of movement

Sometimes it seems that life can weigh us down and everything feels “heavy”. People often feel as if they’re slouching and try to use will power to “straighten up”. This may work briefly but rarely stops the downward pull. In this easy, gentle workshop you will find ways to lighten the load and put a little bounce back into your system.

Jenni Evans is hosting a online seminar to offer this fun, gentle workshop over a 2 week series. She is an experienced Assistant Trainer in the Feldenkrais Method® and has been offering workshops and classes throughout Australia and overseas for 20 years.
