For Trainees in an FPTP

Registration with the Australian Feldenkrais Guild Inc

Trainees enrolled in a current training are eligible to apply for Registration with the AFG Inc under the category of Student (within the first two years of the training) or Student Associate (after two years of training when the trainee is authorised to teach Awareness Through Movement®). As a registered Student or Student Associate you will continue to receive a copy of the Feldenkrais Journal from North American Guild and you can register at the AFG website for the public eNews.

Apart from some of the tangible benefits, being a member of the professional body establishes your credibility in the community, links you to the much bigger Feldenkrais community of practitioners, provides access to what is happening with the Method, and enables you to financially support the workings of the Guild which in turn enables projects to further the Method in Australia.

If you are not a member of the AFG, you are encouraged to take up membership prior to graduation as after the training the full Practitioner member rate applies. Your registration fee is a small part of a much bigger active whole.

For Trainees who have completed two years and eligible to teach Awareness Through Movement® classes
