"I am fascinated by the way in which the Feldenkrais Method® teaches us how to organise the inner self - skeletally, muscularly and emotionally - to act with purpose, with attention to what we do and how we do it."
Rada Millwood is accredited to teach both forms of the Feldenkrais Method® - Awareness through Movement® [ATM] and Functional Integration® [FI]. In 1995 she began running classes and ½ day workshops at the Summer Hill Community Centre.
Rada now lives in Wollongong and is continuing her ATM classes. Rada brings to her Feldenkrais work skills acquired over many years as an adult educator and learning facilitator in corporate and univieristy settings.
Spring classes will start on 19th September and continue for nine weeks - until 14th November. They are run at the Fairy Meadow Community Centre in Guest Park.
As well, Rada offers one-to-one coaching for people keen to explore how the Feldenkrais Method® can enhance their potential to be more ‘alive’ to themselves and their environment.
In addition to her Feldenkrais Method®work, Rada trained with Dr Madan Kataria to become a Laughter Yoga Leader and, with her husband George, was the anchor for the Newtown Laughter-ing Club [Sydney, NSW] for seven years from 2003.
Rada has presented her favourite subjects - organising to learn, to think, to move and to laugh the Feldenkrais® way - at international and local conferences.
