‘Ability to Walk Up and Down Stairs Regained’

In August 2008 I had a skiing accident which left me with a torn calf muscle and a ruptured Achilles tendon. This made it very difficult for me to walk up and down stairs and through soft sand and long grass. I persevered with physiotherapy for a few months which provided little improvement. In November a homeopath who had been treating me [ed: name withheld] suggested I try Feldenkrais and introduced me to [ed: a practitioner]. I can date my recovery from this time. I had several sessions with [ed: the practitioner] until February when I could move well enough to go skiing.
